Day 01
Arrival in Tanzania

Pick up at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) After clearing customs and immigration formalities, will meet our safari driver guide Transfer to western Kilimanjaro Mountain for dinner and overnight stay at Olpopongi Maasai Cultural Village

Day 02
Maasai Village

Welcome to "Olpopongi" Maasai Cultural Village & Museum - the first authentic Maasai Boma with Maasai-Museum & overnight facilities in Tanzania. "Olpopongi" provides a unique Maasai & Wildlife experience in the West-Kilimanjaro Maasailand. They authentic Maasai life & culture in a 100% traditional built village (Boma) with a unique museum. The "Olpopongi Maasai-Village" was planned and built by a multi-cultural construction team, dominated by more than 50 Maasai women & men from the nearby Tinga-Tinga Maasai-Village. All houses are built the traditional way with local and natural materials.

Day 03
Mto wa Mbu

Bustling with a variety of cultures from around Tanzania, the little town of Mto Wa Mbu lies at the entrance to Lake Manyara National Park. A local agricultural hub, the town is famous for its crops of rice and the distinctive red bananas that Tanzania is known for. A half-day tour of the town in the company of a local guide gives travellers the opportunity to interact with local farmers, as well as artisans, craftsmen and painters. A sampling of the local banana beer adds a unique taste of local flavor.

Itinerary:
08h00: Breakfast at the Lodge
09h00: Drive to Mtu wa Mbu, on arrival proceed with Cultural tour where local lunch will be served during the tour
17h30: Proceeds to Karatu town for dinner and overnight stay at Country Lodge

Day 04
Hadzabe & Datoga

Hadzabe or Hadza is a small tribe of nomadic hunter, gatherers are thought to be the earliest primitive inhabitants of Tropical Africa. They have distant links to the Bushmen of the Kalahari and belong to the Khoisan people – those who speak in clicks. They currently live around the Lake Eyasi basin and live purely off the land – hunting wild animals and eating berries, roots, honey and baobab fruit. They own no cattle and no do they do any agriculture, they depend solely on the bush.

09h30: Drive to Lake Eyasi Area where you will meet Datoga (ironsmith society) first
12h30: Lunch at Lake Eyasi Safari Lodge
13h30: After lunch proceed cultural experience of Datoga Community Dinner and overnight stay will be at Eyasi Safari Lodge

Day 05
Departure

Itinerary:
04h00: Early morning, you will be picked up and go hunt with Hadzabe hunters as one of their cultural experience (accompanied with local guide)
09h00: Late breakfast at your lodge
10h00: After breakfast drive back to Arusha, lunch at the restaurant and then transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for departure
